The two members, Nina and Tim are both sought after professional musicians. Nina is a former backing vocalist for artistes such as Dannii Minogue, Boyzone and Sheena Easton. She has had numerous TV appearances on Top of the Pops and the National Lottery and has toured all over the world.

She had a UK No.2 Hit last year with the song "Automatic High", which she co-wrote for S-Club Juniors. Tim has played piano since the age of 6 and is incredibly talented.

He has written music for stage productions and jingles and has even played at Wembley Arena. They love what they do and this shows in every fresh and polished performance.

At weddings, audiences are usually mixed in both age and musical taste. Essence have played at 100's of weddings and keep everybody dancing by selecting and adapting swiftly from their huge repertoire.
