The Anthony Newley Story is a wonderful musical journey through the life and times of actor, singer, pop star, composer and cultural icon Anthony Newley.

The show is presented and performed by Newley’s biographer and friend, the International actor and singer GARTH BARDSLEY (West End star of The Phantom of the Opera; The Best of Times). He is joined by jazz pianist SANDRA LAMBERT and her trio. Featuring such evergreen songs as What Kind of Fool Am I?; Who Can I Turn To?; Gonna Build a Mountain; The Joker; Once In A Lifetime; On A Wonderful Day Like Today; Goldfinger; The Candy Man, Feelin’ Good and many more.

“One day the world will wake up to the genius of Anthony Newley. Garth’s superb show lovingly reminds us of this and, at the same time, introduces us to a singer who manages to stamp his own signature on these wonderful songs. This alone is a remarkable achievement” DON BLACK, OBE

Cocktails … Casinos … Car Chases: Bond Comes to Islington

Join us at The Chapel Bar in Islington on Friday 4th June for an exclusive James Bond Casino Night. For one night only, The Chapel Bar will be transformed into a mecca of all things 007, including martinis and full-sized full sized casino tables with professional croupiers.

Guests will be able to enjoy the casino and the Bond-themed surroundings over two floors and a heated terrace area. Hand-made (and mouthwatering!) pizzas will be available until 11pm.

The aim of the casino is to raise money for charity, therefore guests will be able to purchase “fun money” and all the proceeds will go to The Samaritans. As an incentive to raise the highest possible amount of money for this very worthy cause, we’ve lined up some terrific prizes for our most successful “gamblers”.

Doors open at 7.30pm; the casino runs from 8pm-11pm; and the venue (and dancefloor!) will stay open until 3am.

To purchase tickets for this fun-filled event, book online at: http://www.eventelephant.com/jamesbondcasinonight

SPECIAL OFFER: Book by Sunday 23rd May to receive a 10% discount. Simply enter the promotional code CHAPELBAR when booking your tickets.

If you have any questions about the event, please contact the organiser, Emily Hill, on 07944 252792 or findthehill@googlemail.com
