Kosheen DJs
As well as recording, writing and playing live with Kosheen, Darren Coder and Markee Ledge have always found time to DJ in clubs all over the globe for such established organisers such as renaissance and ministry of sound, as well as holding down a residency @ Prologue in London. They play and produce a blend of Tech/Electro House with some breaks thrown in for good measure. As well as there own releases they’ve found time to do remixes for Kosheen and The Shamen as well as many others and with a Kosheen DJ mix album getting rave reviews on all media.
Ross Manthorpe (VIVID FIX JET)
Will be keeping the JET faith.
Ross smashed it last month.
“VIVA CITY….an über-cool four piece mashing d’n'b-flavoured electro-rock beats with alt-indie sounds. These post modern glam-punk upstarts craft raucous tunes that demand your attention. Produced by the legendary Kosheen DJs, Viva City have already made waves on Europe’s club scene as well as headlining London club nights.
With blazing support sets during 2007 for superstars Kosheen at London’s Koko and Islington Academy, and in Newcastle for Boy Kill Boy, Viva City’s awesome performances have blown fans away with their audacious mix of genres, unique style and in-yer-face raw energy. An EP is in production and a major launch is planned for early 2008, Viva City are dangerously close to the big time…Prepare for the biggest indie/electro/rock head of all time.” For guestlist : alistjohn@gmail.com / name for guests
