Jeremy Warmsley + We Have Band + Akira
Mr Warmsley’s not yet played White Heat despite almost playing on at least one earlier occasion. He’s about to release his second album on Transgressive (home of Foals, The Young Knives etc.). Musically think folky but with more than a dash of electronic. Say Drowned in Sound: “live appearances are wildly unpredictable …he has played as many times with his seven-piece backing band the LMNOPs (including laptop-ist and trombone section) as he has on his own.”
Akira, too mix the twee and the electronic but to a dancier effect while WHB have suddenly sprouted from all venues in London at once with an attempt straight for the Hot Chip electro jugular.

Meanwhile the Clik Clik are about to head off for a great big long residency at Ibiza Rocks. This is a last chance to see them before they jet out. Bang in the middle of that whole Wonky Pop thing with the likes of Alphabeat, Frankmusic and… Annie[?] they’re very much of the moment.

Acid Mothers Temple and the Cosmic Inferno + Sh*t and Shine
Finest purveyors of Japanese Psych and they’re playing for us. A long held dream come true. Expect 90 minutes of whatever they fancy playing. Know it’ll be loud and possibly the greatest thing you [I’ve] ever seen. Support from Londoners (via Texas) Shit and Shine. No idea how many drummers they’ll be bringing to this party but AMT are bringing two so it’ll probably be at least that many…
