Janet is an accomplished Accordionist for hire in London.
Apart from the accordion, she also plays the piano, excellent for adding a bit of class to afternoon tea occasions, or even adding variety with some sax and flute to backing tracks for music at corporate events and luncheons.
Classically trained at the Royal Academy of Music, Janet graduated with the Licentiate Degree from The Royal Academy of Music (L.R.A.M.) and the Professional Musical Performance Certificate with Honours, also from The Royal Academy of Music{Prof Cert (Hons) R.A.M.}.
She has played at Royal Garden Parties and has been introduced to and played for Her Majesty the Queen and other Royal Family members on many occasions.
Janet’s repertoire is very extensive. Special requests can always be incorporated into her programme.
As a fine classically trained accordionist, she frequently accompanies other instrumentalists and singers (including Benjamin Luxon, Aled Jones, the late Ian Wallace OBE, Marilyn Hill-Smith and Jenny Samuel).
