The MFL Clarinet Quartet was formed by four students of the Royal Academy of Music in 2010. This unusual and special ensemble exploits the virtues of the clarinet, enabling the group to play music that ranges from lyrical beauty to incredible virtuosity. Perfect for uplifting yet quiet background music with a unique ensemble. It is made up of three clarinets and one bass clarinet and they play music from pop and jazz arrangements to Gershwin songs as well as classical music.

They recently entered the Pizza Express Big Audition, and were voted into the top 50 out of 7500 applicants.
They are Live Music Now! artists, a role which sees the ensemble performing for people in care homes and also for children in special schools. The ensemble members underwent a rigorous audition and interview process for this position. The MFL Clarinet Quartet also have experience performing background music, as well as giving lunchtime and evening recitals.
