British classical guitarist Fin gained public attention early on with what the classical guitar magazine described as a performance of sheer virtuosity and musicality in the final of the Admira international classical guitar competition at age 13.
Others have described him as next in line of great classical guitar players with the Wharfedale Newspapers writing Finbarr is of exceptional promise and surely treading in the path followed by Julian Bream and John Williams a generation ago.
Ever since performing for the first time publicly, Fin has continued to appear in the concert hall regularly.
He has performed at venues such as the Wigmore Hall, St. Martins-in-the-Fields and the Royal Exchange Theatre to name but a few.
Fin has also performed in a number of festivals including the Walton festival, the Bowdoin music festival in the USA where he was a teaching assistant and the Rye festival in East Sussex.
In many of his recitals, Fin has performed an eclectic mix of music. His performances have included the works of J.S. Bach, John Dowland, Benjamin Britten, William Walton and Manuel Maria Ponce.
Fin has extensively performed with a variety of ensembles including the National Youth Guitar Ensemble of England where he performed with legendary guitarist John Williams as well as performing with the Peabody Symphony Orchestra.
Fin is ideal for weddings, receptions, corporate events & launches.
