Professional Cellist with extensive experience in Classical Music
Originally from Spain, María is a professional cellist and Spanish and cello tutor based in London. She holds an MA in English Studies, received a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, a BMus in cello and a Certificate in Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA).
Although coming from a classical music background, María has become involved with a wide range of events since moving to London in 2008, helping to broaden her aims and expectations within the music field.

Her extensive experience includes playing in orchestras and chamber groups (Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Wigmore Hall), bands (gigs in UK, mainland Europe and Asia), musical theatre productions (Sweeney Todd, The Last 5 Years, Victor Victoria, Chess, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, Love Story, A Little Night Music, Stay Awake, Jake!, Dogfight, Grindr the Musical, Clockmaker’s Daughter, A Christmas Carol among others) and recordings for various artists, commercials, short films, movies and musical theatre.
