Forget Pop Idol – this is Pop Idle – a chance for all those lazy popstars singing into hairbrushes to flaunt their secret rock n’ roll alter-ego in front of a live band and a live crowd! Whether you’ve got the X-Factor or just the ex-factor, you’ll have the time of your life on stage with your own band and singers backing you.
- Karaoke Band aka Bandoke
- Live Jazz Instrumental for Drinks Reception
- Disco
- Function Band for a regular Party Performance
It’s Live Band Karaoke! The name says it all. Karaoke with a Live Band. They also provide a disco and regular covers set if required.
Forget those cheesy backing tracks and a bouncing ball on a tv screen – this professional band will provide all the backing, just like the original song – all it’s lacking is your voice! Combining the great fun of karaoke with the energy & enthusiasm of a professional live band.
The Pop Idle band can perform a few numbers to warm up the atmosphere, then it’s time for you to strut your stuff. Or perhaps you’d like a whole set of the band & then a set of live karaoke. The choice is yours.
Croon a ballad by Leanne Rhymes, belt a Bon Jovi anthem, funk it up with a James Brown number or play the cheeky chappy ala Robbie Williams – they’ll provide the lyrics and hollers of encouragement to perform your chosen song.
All you need is a set of lungs, and a sense of fun & they guarantee your fans will go wild!
Pop Idle comes complete with a full professional P.A., lighting & a 5-10-piece band. Choose whether you want 1 or 2 backing singers and the horn players for the real red carpet performance. Add on a percussionist and extra horns & singers. Make it as Wembley Stadium as you like!
The Pop Idle team will provide disco music for the breaks and to warm up/end your night. They’ll make yours an event to remember not just with a fantastic live band, but with the ultimate audience participation!
The Pop Idle band have been performing around the U.K. at weddings, parties, corporate events, team-building days, receptions, launches of bars & restaurant chains and abroad for the Hilton & Sheraton Hotel Groups.
Reviews
Thank you very much for supplying the Karaoke/Bandoke band. They first performed and got everyone on their feet dancing; we then had our staff sing hits from the 80s right up to some recent hits. Finally, our C.E.O. and Directors sang Dancing Queen with the whole party in vocal unison; it was magical. The band amazingly made everyone sound great, and the lead vocalist was so patient on each song, guiding those unsure along. Our staff can’t wait to do it again. We will come back to you for our Christmas Entertainment next year.
