Emma is a soul singer who can perform as a soloist backing herself on piano or with a band or guitar duo or piano depending on your event requirements. She can perform covers. motown and soul hits. She can perform originals for events that require something unique.
From an early age, music has been Emma’s primary interest. She started playing the violin and piano at age six and is classically trained in both instruments. An interest in vocals came later in life and has never left. She took part in her first professional vocal performance piece at aged eleven and her career path was set.

During Emma’s third year of university, she was offered work experience with Delroy Murray at the Song Corporation. Here she was given various training and insight into the business side of the music industry. Delroy Murray also gave Emma the opportunity to sing as part of his band, performing at such shows as ‘291’ and ‘Lovers Rock Reunion’, with such artists as: ‘Paulette Tajah’ and ‘Michael Gordon. Emma was then given the opportunity to work alongside Toyin Adekade in her vocal group entitled, ‘Tahletha Voices’ working and touring with such artists as ‘George Nooks’, ‘Lukie D’ and the infamous ‘Sanchez’.
In 2005, Emma’s musical career reached a peak, when she was asked by the infamous Jazzie B of Soul to Soul to manage and sing in his backing vocalist section. She gladly accepted and embarked upon a new musical journey. Upon joining Soul to Soul, Emma has been privileged to work with: Alicia Keys, Jocelyn Brown, Caren Wheeler, Kym Mazelle, Rose Windross, Debbie Harry, Carleen Anderson and Charlotte Kelly. Not to mention working along-side the infamous Jazzie B and the rest of the soul to soul family
Clearly music is Emma’s life, and she also has achieved a music degree as well as a PG Certificate in Music Teaching while pursing a solo career.
