Jazz/ Latin Jazz/Acoustic Band
Wild Card is a London-based Jazz combo led by French guitarist Clement Regert, British drummer Sophie Alloway & Australian organist/ keyboardist Andrew Noble. Wild Card regularly features an augmented horn section and guest vocalists. Their signature blend of Afro/samba, reworked pop tunes and hard bop numbers is very popular amongst clubs & European jazz festivals.
Wild Card has some residencies at prestigious clubs, such as the world-famous Ronnie Scott’s jazz and 606 clubs. The band was formed in July 2011. Since then, they have played more than 200 shows together, recorded five albums and played in many countries.
Wild Card has recorded and collaborated with 3 Grammy award winners, 2 Grammy award nominees, one mercury prize winner and 1 MOBO winner and 2x MOBO nominee in the last few years.
Wild Card released their new album “Cabin 19 fever” in January 2023 at a Sold Out Royal Albert Hall Elgar Room.
Meeting the Band



Clement is a critically acclaimed French guitarist/band leader based in London. He has played/ collaborated with in the last five years with 3 Grammy award winners, 1 Grammy nominee, 1 MOBO winner & 1 Mercury Prize Winner. Clement’s Wild Card is a melting pot of musical ideas, fusing urban rhythms and grooves with a Latin attitude. The music is dynamic, exuberant and flamboyant. Appealing to jazz fans and more mainstream-music lovers alike.
Sophie is one of the most in-demand drummers in the UK. She has toured the UK, Australia, and New Zealand with Roots Manuva and performed later with Jools Holland, Mercury Music Prize, BBC Introducing and playing festivals such as London Jazz Festival, Glastonbury and Bestival. She has also toured with Michael Jackson’s musical “Thriller”.
Recording sessions for Roots Manuva, Wild Card, Hazel O’Connor, Wagga Man/Theo Gordon (producer), and John Hogg, as well as numerous recordings as a jazz drummer.
Andrew, a Hammond Organ-Pianist, is originally from Australia now residing in London since 2004. Performing across town with a variety of jazz grooves and Latin projects. During his time, he has performed with saxophonist Derek Nash, Roberto Manzin, Renato D’Aiello, Christian Brewer, Simon Spillet, Ed Jones, Toni Kofi and Gary Plumey, conger Robin Jones, Guitarists Jim Mullen and Carl Orr, singer Ola Onabule and Kenny Thomas and nine degrees below zero. He has also performed at Edinburgh Fringe Fest, the London Jazz Festival, Royal Albert Hall, Goodwood Fest of speed, The British Jazz Fest, Music live at Birmingham NEC, All out Guitar Fest, Marlborough Jazz Fest, The Teignmouth Jazz Fest and The Isle of Wight Int. Jazz Festival.
