The gypsy live band adopted the name Route to Reinhardt to better capture their mission of reviving the swing and spirit of 1930s and 40s Parisian jazz. As one of the few authentic Sinti bands performing in the UK, Route to Reinhardt maintains a deep connection to the genre’s roots and shares a musical lineage with Django Reinhardt himself.
Their repertoire includes around 50 jazz standards, ranging from lively swing to smooth bossa nova, allowing audiences to experience the timeless appeal of gypsy jazz in its purest form.
