Clare is a Versatile Vocalist that works well for a huge range of events from easy to talk over background music to weddings and corporate functions, providing wonderful elegant music that will bring a touch of class to any occasion.

Clare has been successfully entertaining audiences for many years and has performed all over the UK and abroad playing with various groups, duos and trios everywhere from restaurants and cruise ships to more prestigious venues such as Ronnie Scott’s and the London palladium.

Clare’s classic set list draws upon a vast array of genres spanning nearly a century comprised of Jazz standards, Show tunes, Blues RnB Pop Soul Motown & Disco & Gospel that make her perfectly suited for your event.

Versatile, professional and approachable, she can adapt to all social occasions and will do her utmost to cater to your requirements to make your day as memorable as possible. Clare require’s minimal space and set-up time and able to provide P.A and lighting.

About the Duo

The Duos vocalist, Clare, has been a professional singer since 2005 and has performed at hundreds of private events. Originally Classically trained Clare studied with Malcolm Rivers (The Royal Shakespeare Company and The Royal Opera House) which eventually lead to Various performances at the Watford Coliseum.

Her talent for singing also extends to other genres and has a passion for Soul and Gospel singers from the likes of Aretha Franklin and Christina Agulera and has subsequently performed with the Shoreditch Gospel Choir and Blues Kitchen Gospel Choir for which she was the lead vocalist. Clare also uses her vocal talents in Music therapy sessions to help entertain people suffering from dementia and has fronted a jazz trio with session guitarist Ben Weightman

The duo’s guitarist, Carl, is an established Guitarist, Composer and Arranger who has worked with a wealth of talented artists since graduating from the Guitar Institute in London. The Guitarist various collaborations has seen him perform at the London Arena, St Albans Arena and Ronnie Scotts and featured on countless sessions, co writing with Andy Bell and Vince Clark (Erasure).

Also active in Musical Theatre, Carl has has arranged musicals for the Harpenden Gang show and played guitar in many productions such as Grease, Our House and Jesus Christ Superstar to name a few. From 2013- 2017 he served as Chief Audio Technician and Head of music performance at Sanctuary Studios Watford where he taught the NCFE course for which he wrote much of the curriculum.
