The Jazz & Soul Orchestra is a London based band that deliver songs with authentic, spontaneous jazz and heartfelt soul. With super sweet guitar, divinely deep bow and bass, dulcet jazz keys or spicy sax, this ensemble will mesmerize, sooth and enliven the imagination of any audience.
With a well loved repertoire previously sang by the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Nina Simone, Billie Holiday, Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin and Al Green to name just a few, the lead vocalist,Shari, sings with a simultaneously smooth and raw vocal that digs down for the truth and reaches high for the hope.
Line up varies and can include drums, double/acoustic or electric bass, piano, keyboard, guitar, saxophone and always with Shari as vocalist.
