The Stompers are a Jazz function band that is led by Charlotte , an award winning multi instrumentalist in London.
The band have played all the major hotels in London including Claridges, Mandarin Oriental, The Landmark, jazz club Ronnie Scott’s and The Royal Albert Hall, and are a regular backing band for The Jiving Lindy Hoppers.
The band play classic swing, latin and gypsy standards, suitable for either background or dancing.
They have also played The Charleston for BBC4 Dancing Cheek to Cheek for Len Goodman and Lucy Worsley to demonstrate the dance steps too.
Classically trained but growing up playing all styles of music, Charlotte plays saxes, Flute and violin, and has performed all over the world including Sydney Opera House, BB King in New York City, and the Bangkok International Music Festival. She was also band leader on P&O ship MV Minerva for 5 years.
The band can be either instrumental or with vocals,
-Charlotte with a guitarist/vocalist
-Charlotte with painist/singer
-as a trio with Double bass added
-as a quartet with drums added
The Stompers are an ideal band for weddings, functions, themed birthday parties, events as well as corporate events in London.
