Joss is an award-winning professional rock & roll pianist singer who has been performing internationally and in the UK. A Technically Superior Pianist Singer at Work, he will make the piano swing, jump and move as you would have seldom or never heard live and when he howls the “great balls of fire”, your guests, Will Dance. When he plays laid back music or easy swing, his nuances on the piano and vocals are delicate and heartfelt, yet will not lose the rhythm as you gently sway to his playing.

He began performing professionally at the tender age of 15 in the restaurants and bars of Canterbury, and since then has made a name for himself as a performer, TV composer, bandleader and arranger. Based in Brighton, he mainly covers Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire, Kent and Greater London but has been booked to play as far away as Dublin, Genoa, Granada, Nantes and Montpellier.

His professionalism, versatility and warm manner have made him a firm favourite for clients such as Proctor and Gamble, AXA, Arsenal Football Club, South East Business Awards. He has regularly performed in London’s 606, Vortex and Pizza Express jazz club.

His background in jazz gives him the facility to play many different music styles and provide familiar songs new life with fresh interpretations. He is as comfortable banging out a high energy rendition of Great Balls of Fire as he is singing a beautifully mellow version of What a Wonderful World.

Joss has a vast repertoire of songs in different genres and will judge the mood on the day unless you state a preference.
