Jason Melville

Since he was a child, Jason Melville has had a passion for music. Being brought up with the sounds of the 60’s and spending the usual teenage years experimenting on rock music, one thing has never changed, his love for it and the stirring power he felt that comes with the ability to express oneself through music.

“I have been singing myself, (In secret), ever since I was a child I had given myself the unwritten code to always sing with as much heart and passion as I can muster when I decide to perform and to do my very best to emulate the emotive voices that have inspired and moved me so much”.

Over the years, Jason has had his share of being the lead singer for various bands, ranging from Rock to Pop to Motown and Blues and though the genre may vary, he has loved every second of it. All that hard work has paid off as he is currently in a position where he gets to perform and share the music of other great artist such as Sam Cooke, Otis Redding, Frank sinatra, Matt Monro and the more recent Micheal Buble, as well as many others.

For Jason, singing and performing is not just a hobby or a way to make a living, it is more than that. His passion for it means that once decided, he gives everything he has into a song or performance and in so doing has been blessed to be a part of many wonderful memories. He cherishes those memories and looks forward to experiencing many more as well as the magic and connection to people that comes with it.

Although his repertoire is impressive, if need be, he is more than willing to learn new songs in order to help make the event extra memorable and looks forward to sharing that with you.
