8 Piece Folk, Barndance & Country Band

The Country Band is an 8 piece folk, country and barndance band in London. Their style of music is called “Soil Music” because it’s earthy – made up of western swing, bluegrass, country, gospel, folk, cajun and anything that brings that ‘old time, good time’.

Barn Dance or Show?

The Country Band can provide a stomping good musical concert or a full-on barn dance complete with caller and dance instructions.

We have two experienced barn dance callers and can give you a thoroughly entertaining and exciting evening, even if none of your guests have barn danced before.

The caller will explain the dance first, giving you and your guest the chance to walk through the steps and get used to how the dance goes, then will continue to call the steps while you are dancing to the music.
