Do you need a Music Producer?

Jamie Amos is a record producer, songwriter, musician and engineer in London. His credits include SONY Mobile, Eugene McGuiness, Boz (Morrissey), Walking On Cars and The Blue Pursuit. As a fluent guitarist, bassist, drummer and keyboard player he has mastered the balance between hands-on help and drawing out an artist’s own sound regardless of genre.

Jamie’s career in music began in a bedroom with band mates from The Blue Pursuit. He found a flare for making and recording music and was soon positioned as runner and assistant engineer at State of The Ark Studios, Richmond. While at State of the Ark he worked on several high profile projects including MyRiot (London Grammar, James Morrison, La Roux, Marlon Roudette) and Omar Hakim.

Based at The Arch Studios in Seven Sisters.

Pre production: Tighten up the rhythm and build the arrangement of the record.
Sonic: Flavours of drums, vocals, guitars, and bass with full analog and digital capabilities.
Recording: Studio selection, session players, songwriting, mixing and mastering.

In 2014 he moved to London to pursue he’s career in music. As a session musician he performed with Little Mountain (Ross from Morcheeba) and Bea Munro.

He also founded The OJ Playhouse an open mic and jam night which attracts all kinds of musicians, including acoustic acts and jammers. Wentworth Studios was born featuring rare analogue gear from the 60s/70s, a home studio where Jamie developed he’s skills as a young engineer recording singer-songwriters and artists.

He began to establish himself in studios such as Tileyard Studios and Sugar Cane Studios and expanded he’s work portfolio in advertisement with music for SONY Mobile.

He worked for Domino Records Publishing in their writing studio as musician and engineer for Eugene McGuiness and Boz (Morrissey).
