Mex is an acoustic lap tap/percussive guitarist from England. He has taken his show worldwide, street performing and gigging on four different continents and composing and performing music for theatre in Australia and the UK.
Mex plays his own compositions predominantly, as you can see, although he occasionally does a cover or two as a crowd-pleaser.

Previously he has composed and performed live for two theatre productions, one in Melbourne and one in Manchester, held residency in 5star hotels in London, as well performing countless corporate gigs for companies such as Virgin Airlines, The British Navy and Wells and Fargo and many more he was requested not to mention. Amazing music and technique. I was going through some older videos of mine and came across a few I took of you in Trafalgar Square in 2022. I thought ‘wow that guy was so unique, who is he?’ Luckily one of the videos just caught ‘mex.fs’ which led me to this site. Found you in Spotify and now I can enjoy your music all the time.
Where I live in Switzerland we have a street artist festival every 2 years with acts from all over Europe. I’m going to put your name forward for contact.
THANK YOU! Heard you playing on the street in London and dropped a little thanks in the case, and took photo of your web address, and have just followed you on spotify. Marvelous compositions and playing.
