The Balkan Brass are a band that combine mainly brass instruments with an accordion and various traditional percussion instruments. They play lively music from the Balkan and Anatolia regions mainly Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia and Turkey. The lead instruments used are zurna, clarinet and trumpet.

Their sound is robust and high energy. Born out of London’s cosmopolitan music scene, the band combines local musicians with talented musicians from the Balkan states and Anatolia. The band is popular for world music events and for weddings that require music from the said regions. The band is available to perform as a two-piece to a 9 piece.
