Watergrain are a English Folk and Celtic band based in Faversham, Kent with roots firmly placed in the English tradition.
Over the last thirty years they have played all over Britain at many different venues large and small including clubs and festivals.
Watergrain offers a full evening’s entertainment of music for dancing or songs for listening or a mixture of both, whatever the venue, at any time of year and anywhere in the world, be it indoors or outdoors, a corporate function, wedding, barn dance, ceilidh, concert or festival.

Watergrain managed very effectively to get everyone up and dancing, falling about laughing, or both. They also suggested an easy but fantastic first dance that worked really well. We had hoped that having a Ceilidh band would be something novel and that people would have a lot of fun having a go at something they had never tried and that it would be an “ice breaker” at the start of the dancing.
They carried out this role perfectly and it worked like a charm. Their mixture of silly jokes, banter and trying to get a collection of people mostly with two left feet into a semblance of an organised group was hilarious and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
