Channelling the King of Rock & Roll
This fantastic story begins in a council house in Croxley Green, Hertfordshire. Karl was the 3rd child of 4. At an early age, Karl was introduced to a wide variety of music by his parents, brothers and especially his grandparents, as his nan would always play Elvis records when his passion for the king began.
As he recalls, friends really enjoyed the passion of his songs, which inspired him. By an early age, Karl had his own Elvis collection and would frequently sing along, trying to impersonate ‘The King’ himself.
By the age of 18, Karl was frequenting public houses with his friends, especially when a band or Karaoke were present. The first ever song he sang was ‘Suspicious Minds’, which went down a storm, which prompted him to enter a Karaoke competition in a wine bar in Watford High Street. To his surprise, he walked off with the 1st prize, not bad for an 18-year-old with no vocal training.
At 19, Karl joined another professional musician on stage at The Western Inn, Rickmansworth, the great Paul Green (Greenie), who was the original guitarist for Suzi Quatro. When these two played together, they brought the house down, and so Karl’s tribute started, and he has never looked back.

We booked Karl for a joint kid’s & adults’ birthday party. From the offset, he was very professional, polite and responsive. He showed up right on time on the day and gave us a performance we will never forget. Karl really got the crowd going and was fantastic with the kids. He has a great voice, a true likening to the late great Elvis Presley. He made sure to sing all of our favourite songs, which he asked us for beforehand.
